11 months agoThe owner subcontracted the work out to Franco's Remodeling. Poor craftsmanship and not cheap. Subcontractors had to come back multiple times for touch ups and they showed up to the house late in the day before dinner time, which was not convenient for a family of 5 with young children....including pics of un-sanded mantel that they initially installed; it was chipped and had nail holes everywhere. Had to have them take it down to sand properly and stain to cover up chips and general poor craftsmanship. Absolutely would not recommend for anyone looking to have a custom fireplace mantel done. Board and Batten entryway wasn't great either but we reached a point overall where we were too frustrated to keep asking for touch ups and felt this was as good as we were going to get. For touch ups and fixes, had to ask the owner to be there to supervise as the people sent from Franco's were young, not highly skilled.
