2 months agoSteve found the source of what caused our ERMI to be so high after another inspector said we did not have a mold problem. After getting a backstory and listening to my concerns, he went straight to my attic and found the mold in my HVAC system. I had it remediated today and the tech confirmed the part they removed was filled with mold. Steve gave me a comprehensive inspection report and a follow up call to go over things. The service was pricey but you get someone who knows their stuff and will give you a report telling you exactly what you need to do to improve your situation. Steve and Lori were great to work with. Would recommend. -

5 months agoSteve and Lori are the BEST of the best. I cannot tell you the peace of mind you will have working with them. They are beyond thorough and help every step of the way. I HIGHLY as highly as I can recommend Steve managing your project once you know you have issues to be resolved with your house. He will check to make sure all the work is done to his specifications which we would have no idea what should be done. Also, I would recommend everyone test their house for toxins even if you think your house is ok. You don't want to slowly get an autoimmune issue and then have to resolve that as well as issues in your house. -

6 months agoFor about 12-13 years, we have dealt with mold in our house, having to have two remediations not including constant mold tests for me and the house. With a third possible remediation, my NP recommended Indoor Environmental Systems. Before Steve came over, I had talked to a mold specialist in another state and he told me what a good mood specialist would look for. Having gone through remediations before land the constant testing, I thought Steve was excellent and very thorough. I looked at the website before he came over and was very impressed with everything he did. I don't think a professional person specializing in mold would look in so many places in the house like he did. Sending pictures, readings, suggestions and a protocol before having a zoom call meeting was a great way to get us on our way to making our house less sick. I had already started doing some of the things that he recommended. i highly recommend Steve and Lori. -

7 months agoI trusted this company because of the owners story and I believed they wanted to help people. There were many red flags I ignored. I went with them to seal the crawlspace 2 years ago and asked if we needed a dehumidifier. They said no because of the way they vent the crawlspace to pull in air the HVAC and also air coming from outside . Turns out after 2 years and another inspection from a mold company the outdoor air vent is pulling in 90% humidity straight into my HVAC and now we have mold growing all in the system and it turns out we needed a dehumidifier the entire time. The company I'm working with now has had to go behind IES several times and correct their problematic work. I now have to spend money to correct this issue that has caused mold growth in my HVAC in the crawl space. The only reason I sealed it was to prevent this. Save yourself the headache on working with these scammers who really are causing more problems for people in the long run. Their reputation is slowly becoming known which is a good thing . I would have been better off not sealing the crawlspace and them not venting our system the way they did pulling in outside air .
