12 years agoHe dropped trees on mature trees and shrubs I wanted to keep, including a magnolia, several viburnums, pink dogwood, osmanthus, several hydrangeas. He trenches the grass in my back and side yard. He did the work while it was raining and trenched my yard. I now need to sod the yard and replant trees and shrubs. It would be acceptable if he a few trees or shrubs were harmed. He harmed most of them. Roy was very rude and screamed at me and spoke very poorly about his employees. A neighbor was concerned at how much he was screaming that they called the police. He did not respect my yard or me. -

12 years agoOther tree companies giving estimates in my neighborhood told me this would be an all day job requiring many men and would cost $1200-1500 to cut the tree and haul away the wood. When I called Trees of Georgia, Inc., I received a next day estimate from Alex, who arrived on time and called before showing up. He gave me all the details of how the leaning tree would be taken down to ensure that my fence would not be damaged and how the tree would be hauled out as to not damage my lawn. Their estimate was $725, which was discounted to $700 because they would already be working in my area. Alex immediately emailed me the estimate and all current company information including Roswell business license, insurance, and workers compensation insurance. I scheduled the work and they were able to be back to take down the tree within two days. Lando and his crew of two additional men arrived at the scheduled time around 8:15am and were done by 10:30am. Lando was courteous and polite and again took the time to discuss the work with me before getting started. Other than one branch they had to remove that the fallen tree was propped on (which was told could be removed), there was no sign in my yard or my recently-installed sod that they had ever been there. They cleaned up after themselves and even blew the leaves off of my lawn. I was extremely pleased with the entire process and impressed by the folks working at this company. -

13 years agoEven thou they arrived late (previous job delayed them from being on time) they arrived and immediatly took to taking down tree. The individual doing the actual climbing and cutting was obviously very skilled at this task, and within one hour was able to cut the tree down to the ground. The rest of the crew worked very efficiently and moved the tree segments to the chipper continuously. The team was extremely professional and left the property in excellant shape and clean. Would definitly use these people again. -
