7 years agoIt went very well even better that what we expected. We have 2 trees (live oak & sycamore) on our property that are fully grown (over 20 years old). Given that we live in Florida and weather is always a factor, we want to make sure that the trees are healthy and do not pose a threat to our home. We researched a number of tree companies and the price points fall in a very wide range for the type of services we are asking them to do. Most were so focused on the work rather than result for the trees & the property. We realized that we need to work with a licensed arborist to assess the trees and provide the proper maintenance to make sure they are kept upright. Then we met the owner Anthony, who came out to assess the trees. He was very knowledgeable and pleasing to talk to. He provided a very complete assessment and even a maintenance plan for our trees that included an approach that unfortunately, required to remove the sycamore that was closer to the street because the trees were crowding each other. The plan was to make the live oak grow to its full potential that it will be provide the shade for the whole property. On the day of maintenance, the team came and we found them very personable & professional. They made sure we as well as our immediate neighbors were informed of the work they are doing before and throughout the process. We were very impressed , they worked very efficiently with safety as the main focus. They came, they executed and cleaned up very well. The only evidence that work was done were a well manicured tree and the sycamore was no longer there. Someone even performed a follow of the work days later. We would highly recommend Duffey Tree Service, they do not just take care of your trees, they will take care of you. -

9 years agoI have used a subservice of Duffey Tree care in the past and loved their punctuality and professionalism. This service was no less. I cannot stress how wonderful it is to have a service professional come out, on time and do the job they said they would. Unfortunately, this is not always the case but Duffey Tree Care is a step above. We have had several terrible experiences with service people, including two tree trimming places in the past which left us hesitant when we needed tree service. They texted me when they were on their way and answered all my questions as they walked around the premises to make sure that we were both on the same page as to what was going to happen. The three guys that came out worked all day, despite crazy rain, and did not stop until the job was done. We were beyond pleased with their service and know that there are more trees that need attention in the future. There is no doubt who we will call to perform this service. We highly recommend Duffey Tree Care without hesitation! -

10 years agoGreat experience from the phone call to make an appointment for an estimate, then subsequently schedule two days for the job, until the end stage clean up. Very professional and knowledgeable. Safety measures taken regarding their work. High energy crew which are all team players resulting in getting the job done in a timely manner. Took care not to damage the yard, the surrounding landscape, or hardscape. -

12 years agoThey were professional. They came in, we walked around, looked at each tree, they told me what he was going to do to each tree, and they did a great job. Once they knew what I wanted done, they went ahead and did it. There are wrong ways to trim a tree, and right away to do it, so he told me how he would do it. They hauled away some of the limbs, and I had asked them to hack the other limbs for firewood, and they did that for me. -
