2 years agoAvoid contracting Arthur for any kind of home improvement work. We hired Arthur Oliveira and his company, Luxe Renovations, to replace the exterior trim on a 3 unit residential building. I'm the owner of 1 of the 3 units. The total project was quoted at $30,148.01 on July 6th, 2023. The first payment was made on July 7th, 2023 and the second payment was made on 8/2/23. The third and final payment is not due until project completion. The estimate of time to complete the project was two weeks. After 6 months, the project is still not complete and we haven't heard from Arthur or anyone from his team since our last email exchange on November 13th, 2023. He has been on several email exchanges with all owners, including pictures of the current status of the building, and we've received no response from him. We've moved on with another company and it turns out that ALL of the work that had been done was done improperly. There are gaps between the trim and the window which are allowing water penetration. Avoid Arthur and this company at all costs. -

4 years agoMy wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the results of the project. Arthur was able to deliver everything that we had asked for on time and on budget. Helped through the full design process, and even picked up the tile for us. No unexpected surprises. Our kitchen looks brand new without the cost and hassle of replacing our cabinets. We were referred to Luxe Renovations and Arthur from a friend and we are glad that we reached out! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable contractor! -

5 years agoDo not use this company. The person in charge, Arthur is unreliable, undependable and inconsiderate. I had major work done on my house and there were many problems, tile work, holes in wall etc. after it was finished. The person who did the tile work in the kitchen did not know what he was doing. I called Arthur many times but he would not return my calls and did not follow up to repair work on things that were bad. Now when I call I still can not get in touch with him. He abandoned me. So, I would stay away from this person and Do not use this company. -
