4 months agoJohn and co were hired with just built in bookshelves in mind but we ended up with mud room lockers, new paint, and beautiful built in bookshelves - all for a great price and within our time frame. He was easy to work with, great to chat with, and very honest about the cost and price of different options I proposed. There are two types of homeowners that will really enjoy working with John above other contractors 1) people who have a basic idea of what they want done but aren't fussy about how it's done and are open to John's advice (he gives honest opinions but isn't pushy) and 2) people with a very specific idea and design they want John to follow. John won't try to upsell you or talk you into something you didn't already have in mind but will guide you with his experience. We could have easily done 5+ more projects with John but will have to save up to hire him again. Very satisfied customers! -

They completely gutted the space and transformed it into our dream kitchen. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding. Corkery Customs also moved the existing basement door, built brand new basement steps and installed a new closet for us. Everything was done professionally, on time, and with excellent communication throughout the process. We were so impressed with their work that we've already planned a second project with them-adding a full bathroom and laundry room to our home. It's rare to find a contractor who is this reliable, skilled, and easy to work with. This is actually our second project with John, and just like the first time, he was incredibly easy to work with - responsive, clear, and attentive to every detail. He took the time to understand our needs and delivered exactly what we envisioned (and more). The craftsmanship is top-notch - the lockers are not only beautiful but also extremely functional for our family's daily routine. John's work speaks for itself, but what really sets him apart is how smooth he makes the whole process. It is a custom project so it requires a bit more flexibility vs just buying a piece of furniture. We're already planning future projects with him and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for quality work from someone who truly cares. He followed our concept for the project perfectly but also made great suggestions for modifications that made the final product even better.
