1 month agoGreat price for multiple projects we needed to have done. Did everything in a day, including taking down 4 trees, trimming out of control hedges, removing a stump and yard was completely cleaned up by the end. Did hit an unexpected issue, but had great communication throughout and worked through it with very little inconvenience to us. Highly recommend West Penn Tree Service! -

3 months agoWest Penn Tree Service is amazing. I observed them removing my neighbor's fallen tree. The tree fell around 8 pm one night recently during a big wind storm. When I came out the next morning, West Penn Tree Service was already at their property at 8 am. I was shocked. They were so professional, quick, clean, and courteous. I watched how diligent they were. They laid down items on the ground so they would not tear up the grass with their tractors. And they cleaned everything up so meticulously. They were gone by 8:45 am. I did let them know that I thought they did an amazing job and they were super polite. While I did not hire them for this job, after observing them in action, I know I will in the future. And right after this job, I recommended them to friends in the area. -

3 months agoWest Penn tree service came to my house 1st thing in the morning. I had a tree fall in my front yard and was heading out of town that night. They remove the tree and had it cleaned up in approximately 1 1/2 hours. My neighbors were impressed that it was removed and cleaned up that quickly with us not even being in town. Our yard was left in pristine condition.I would highly recommend West Penn Tree Service.

FAQ
How does West Penn Tree Service determine pricing for tree removal and other services?
We evaluate several factors when calculating the cost of your project, including the size and number of trees, their location on your property, proximity to structures or power lines, accessibility for our equipment, and the complexity of obstacles we need to work around. Each job is unique, which is why we provide custom quotes based on an on-site assessment rather than estimates from photos alone. This ensures you receive an accurate price that reflects the actual scope of work needed.
Do you offer free estimates, and how quickly can you provide a quote?
West Penn Tree Service provides same-day quotes and responds quickly to requests, often arriving first thing in the morning or within hours of your call. We understand that tree emergencies require fast action, especially after storms when fallen trees block driveways or pose safety risks. Contact us with details about your situation, and we'll schedule a convenient time for an on-site evaluation.
Is West Penn Tree Service licensed and insured for tree work?
We maintain full licensing and insurance coverage to protect your property and provide peace of mind during all tree service work. Our crew is trained to handle complex jobs safely, whether we're removing trees near power lines, working around obstacles, or operating heavy equipment like bucket trucks. You can trust that we meet all legal requirements and carry the necessary liability protection.
What specific tree services do you handle in a single visit?
West Penn Tree Service completes multiple projects in one day, including tree removal, stump grinding, hedge trimming, and full yard cleanup. Our equipment and trained crew allow us to tackle urgent situations like storm damage removal, precise takedowns of large pines around obstacles, and comprehensive property restoration without requiring multiple appointments. Whether you need one service or several, we coordinate everything efficiently.
What happens to all the debris and wood chips after West Penn Tree Service completes the work?
We handle complete yard cleanup as part of our service, leaving your property better than we found it. All debris, branches, and wood chips are removed or processed on-site, including stump grinding waste. You won't be left with piles of material to deal with-we manage the entire cleanup so your yard is ready to use immediately after we finish.
Why should I hire a professional tree service instead of attempting removal myself?
Tree removal involves significant safety risks that require specialized equipment, training, and experience to manage properly. Professional arborists understand how to assess tree health, plan safe takedown strategies around obstacles like power lines and structures, and operate heavy machinery like bucket trucks and stump grinders. Improper techniques can cause property damage, personal injury, or incomplete removal that leaves hazardous conditions. Our crew handles the technical and physical demands so you avoid these dangers.
