1 month agoWorking with Amaud Williams on scheduling the installation was excellent. Due to a medical situation there were several cancellation dates and Amaud was very understanding. There was good communication follow up throughout the process. Installers and the Project Manager, Paul Cristea, were very professional and friendly. -

1 month agoDiego was super nice and friendly. His earlier appointment ran late, but he called ahead to make sure I was aware, which I really appreciated. He identified my concerns right away and was a pleasure to work with. Such a professional! -

2 months agoUpdate: Diego and Fabian.. completed the installation of the 4th door that finally had no scratches or issues. Both were polite and professional. Where to begin.... For a large company that you are paying almost 40k for installation for windows and doors they sure do not care about customer service. Original date of Installation was April 12,2025 and I am writing this on August 26th, the project is still incomplete due to poor quality material. Original installation had many mistakes including installing wrong windows in wrong places, cracking window sills and trying pass off like it wasn't their fault even tho we had pictures and video recorded day of prior to installation start. Then installed big sliding glass door crooked and had had opening exposed at the bottom. The front door was wrong and not compatible with lock we told them we had (biometric lock). A new front door had to be ordered... in addition so did entire sliding glass door after was installed crooked and was told by general contractor "nothing is perfect, just live with it" My entire residence was covered in dirt and dust bc they did a horrendous job sealing with plastic. Two days later the front door handle breaks and I am locked out of my residence and forced to take day off work to deal with issue. Fast forward over two months later, after repeatedly questioning where our replacement doors are they install correct front door and new sliding door. Again making a complete dust mess of my entire residence. Sliding door is now an inch higher than floor bc they put too much concrete to "level". Again told to just deal with it.. the kicker is door came all scratched. Mind you it's a hurricane window. Luckily no issues with front door. Less than a week ago the third sliding door arrives to be installed. I tell installation team please check to make sure its not scratched before installing. They "check" and install door and there is a deep scratch in glass... now waiting on 4th door with zero contact from any management regarding the issues. (Two emails and phone calls/texts) Maybe by posting on Google, this company will take action and ensure my project gets completed and proper refunds are issued that are owed. 2 months agoThis company is predatory, exploitative, and should be avoided at all costs, especially by elderly homeowners. I discovered their work after coming home to help care for my elderly parents, only to realize they had been taken advantage of to the tune of over $25,000 for window replacements that were shockingly poorly installed. The workmanship is unacceptable by any standard. The interior edges of the windows were packed with pounds of plaster, crudely slapped on and not even smoothed. You can literally see the indentations left behind from the installer's fingers. No professional would leave work like this. Even worse, there are large cut holes left in the drywall beneath the window trim, where they cut into the sheetrock and never properly repaired it. This is not cosmetic nitpicking. This is careless, rushed, and negligent work that now has to be redone at additional cost. After reading other reviews, it is painfully clear my parents are not isolated victims. There is a disturbing pattern of this company targeting older homeowners, charging outrageous prices, and delivering substandard work. That alone should be enough to raise serious red flags. Companies like this are exactly why homeowner insurance costs keep rising in Florida. Homeowners are left paying twice. Once for the scam, and again to fix the damage. Hopefully, with enough complaints, this business will finally be shut down. But given the history suggested in other reviews, I would not be surprised if they simply rebrand and continue scamming Floridians under a new name. Do not trust this company. Do not let them into your home. Stay away ------------------------ At the company's request after I posted my original review, I reached out to discuss the situation. Needless to say, I was transferred from representative to representative and from department to department. Eventually, I was told that the salesperson who preyed on my parents would call me back. Have I received a call to date? No. I texted them the requested information, including photos, to the number they provided, and I have still received no response. If I could, I would put up a billboard warning people to stay away from this company. I hope this post reaches enough people in time so they don't become victims like my parents were. -

2 months agoDiego, just finished replacing a window at my house. He was on time for the appointment and did an excellent job. He even cleaned the glass. Diego was very polite and friendly as all the technicians I have encountered from FHIA including the administration people. It is so nice when a company stands behind their product. Thank you so much Diego! Joel recently came out to repair one of my windows. He was right on time and had the part the window needed. He has been here before and is always very pleasant and cheerful. It is such a pleasure to have dealings person like Joel and he really knows his business.

FAQ
How does FHIA Remodeling determine pricing for window and door installations?
We provide detailed estimates based on the specific materials, size, and complexity of your project. Our pricing takes into account the type of windows or doors you're installing, any structural considerations unique to your home, and the scope of work involved. We're transparent about costs upfront so there are no surprises, and we're happy to discuss your budget to find solutions that work for your needs.
Are you licensed and insured?
FHIA Remodeling maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to operate as a general contractor in Fort Lauderdale. When you contact us, we can provide documentation of our credentials and insurance coverage so you have peace of mind that your project is protected and handled by qualified professionals.
Can FHIA Remodeling handle both window and door installations, or do you specialize in one?
We handle both window and door installations as part of our general contracting services. Our team has experience installing single units or multiple windows and doors in the same project, which means we can coordinate the work efficiently whether you need one door replaced or an entire home's worth of windows updated.
How quickly can you schedule an appointment, and what should I expect for timing?
FHIA Remodeling works to accommodate your schedule and can often arrange appointments promptly. Our team communicates clearly about arrival times and will notify you if anything changes so you're never left wondering. For installation day, we coordinate the work to minimize disruption to your home and complete the job efficiently based on the scope of your project.
What does FHIA Remodeling do with debris and how is my home left after installation?
We treat your home with respect throughout the installation process, which includes managing debris and cleaning up after ourselves. Our team takes care to protect your property during work and ensures the area is left clean and ready for you to use once the installation is complete.
Why should I hire a professional contractor instead of attempting window or door installation myself?
Professional installation ensures your windows and doors are fitted correctly, sealed properly to prevent water damage and air leaks, and installed to meet local building codes. Improper installation can lead to energy loss, structural issues, and voided manufacturer warranties. Our experience means we identify potential problems early, handle unexpected complications, and guarantee the work is done right the first time.
