9 months agoWe contracted with Jeff to do repairs from Milton in Oct. 2024...to this date we are still not finished. Jeff was paid over $30,000 for shody and unfinished work. I have a leaking carport, which by the way he is not licesened to do . We are not the only people he's ripped off . The state is now investigating. Gave 1 star because you have to to post.... or it would be minus 10 ! -

9 months agoThis company claims a 'passion for quick, efficient, and transparent repairs to storm damaged homes'. I entered into a contract on 12/3/24 and paid a deposit. For FIVE MONTHS they did not return phone calls and did not apply for a permit. No work was done. THIRTY DAYS after I sent a registered, receipt requested letter demanding return of my deposit, there still was no response. This company does not live up to its claims. -

12 months agoJeff and his crew replaced our shop and house roofs with standing seam metal. They also replaced all the soffit and fascia on the house and I can now say we have one of the best looking houses in the neighborhood!! -

5 years agoUnless you like to be overcharged for a roof repair, do not hire FLORIDA ROOF & BUILDING SERVICES LLC that is owned by Jeff Rayl (aka RAYL, JEFFERY W). The company put on two vinyl patches on my vinyl roof about 20x20 inches for $800 which is less than a 30-minute job for a person. When I asked Jeff for an invoice with labor and material, I got a lecture on how expensive it is to run a company and he has to pay for 'wages, taxes on wages, workers compensation insurance on wages, liability insurance expense, office expense, overheads too lengthy to include in this text.' Well, we all know that, but does that make it ok for him to overcharge and scam people? The sad thing is that these companies change names when they have too many negative reviews and people get taken advantage of. Jeff says that he has 40 years of experience, yet his business is only 4 years old. However, when you look up his name on sunbiz there are many inactive companies over the years with his name. Also, please do yourself a favor and read his reviews on Better Business Bureau (BBB) which is an F or 1 star and find a different roofer.

Our quotes include all aspects from gutters and fascia to full project management, providing transparency on what affects the final price.

Florida Roof & Building Services LLC provides quick quotes following an on-site inspection to ensure accuracy for your specific needs. We evaluate the roof condition and scope before finalizing costs, avoiding surprises. This approach helps homeowners understand value without upfront fees.
