2 years agoWe used this GC for a large renovation of our home in 2018-2019. Construction projects are challenging but this was unrealistic. Their team is very personable which provides a fascade to the challenges in working with them. During our project the GC rarely, if ever came to our house to inspect the work. We had numerous escalations during the project due to poor workmanship. We also had to descope work from his contract and seek our own contractors to do work independent from his team. At the end of the day virtually every item his team delivered had to be replaced with in 4 years of the project. Cabinets needed to be refinished as all the pain peeled. We had to have all the lighting fixtures replaced due to poor quality materials. We also encountered numerous plumbing issues and even had multiple problems with the septic system. To make matters worse the owner had a number of financial issues where subs were complaining that he wasn't paying them, so we had to start paying his subs directly so they would continue the work. Along with this numerous accounting issues. Strongly recommend you do your homework. Most of the reviews of this company have been written by subcontractors, make sure you speak to actual customers. -

3 years agoI used this general contractor for a large home remodeling project. First of all, all home construction work has challenges, however the issues experienced with this general contractor were related to their professionalism and commitment to the project. As an example, we encountered numerous issues with bookkeeping and the pricing being associated on bids. Their accounting was terrible and often needed to be corrected. Many of the bids the GC provided from their subcontractors were 40 to 300% higher than competitive bids we solicited from similar subcontractor for the same work. As a result we had to descope many of the items in our contract as we lost all trust in the GC. We were receiving "surprise" invoices, many accompanied with little to no explanation, 120 days+ after certificate of occupancy had been issued. This is definitely a situation where buyer beware. -
