1 month agoWe worked with Riker Home Services after significant water damage in our home last year. We lost most of the flooring on our first floor, and our entire kitchen had to be rebuilt, which was incredibly stressful. Tavis led the mitigation and was so honest and trustworthy that we did not even consider going with anyone else for our rebuild. He worked directly with our insurance company to make sure everything that was damaged was documented and covered. Danny managed our pack-out and pack-in and made sure our belongings were packed, moved, and stored with care. Randy worked with our insurance on the rebuild side and, along with Daniel, did a great job keeping the rebuild moving, answering questions, and managing the project. The subcontractors used were professional, respectful of our home, and did solid work. It is clear that Drew and Ty are running a company with good people who want to do the right thing for their customers. I would recommend Riker to anyone needing mitigation or restoration services. -

2 months agoClint was great, very professional and knowledgeable about the roof as well as how the insurance worked. He actually offered to blow all the twigs, leaves and acorns off the roof since he was going to be up there anyway. I would 100 percent recommend Riker to my friends and family. -

3 months agoRiker put a new roof on, painted my house, and installed new guttering and I couldn't be happier. Daniel was excellent with providing samples and making suggestions and recommendations. The work was impeccable and Daniel kept us informed of every step. After the work was complete he came by and walked with us after each project and made sure the work was done right and we were satisfied. I would recommend Ricker for any work that needs to be done on your home. -

5 months agoDaniel arrived for a prescheduled roof inspection. He asked if I had any roof concerns, I didn't have any, so he explained what he would be doing. After completing his inspection we discussed what he observed. Daniel was polite and great to talk to. -

5 months agoWas pulling up carpet to put hardwoods down and found a small section of mold behind the baseboard molding. Within a day or two, Kieran had removed the contaminated dry wall and insulation and sprayed it and Omar and Mike had re-insulated and covered it up. The project wasn't without a few minor hiccups, but that's to be expected with any construction job. What's important here is that Riker was willing to answer all of my questions and show a flexibility uncommon in the industry. They were knowledgeable, clean, and honest (slightly cracked a light when bringing in dry wall but they immediately owned mistake, offering to replace or pay for a new one, and didn't try to hide it or gaslight me into thinking it was already there). I'm new to the Plano area and doing multiple projects in my home. If I find another issue or need project assistance, I wouldn't hesitate to call them back for a quote on another job.
