7 months agoBarry is awesome! I have had him do a few jobs for me. He drove over an hour to get nesting boxes for me and delivered them in great condition. He picked up and delivered some chickens for me. He has also hauled trash for me and has delivered furniture. Professional, punctual and communication has been great! I would have him do work for me any day! He truly has gone above and beyond with excellent customer service. -

8 months agoWe couldn't be happier with the work Barney does for us-he's a true gem of a handyman! From the moment he arrives, Barney is professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He tackles every project-big and small-with precision and care, and he always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. Barney has done so much for us-from fixing our garage door, to expertly hanging our televisions (with no wires in sight!), to debugging and repairing our entire irrigation system. No matter the task, he approaches it with skill, thoughtfulness, and a great attitude. What really stands out is his attention to detail and his problem-solving skills. Barney doesn't just fix things, he improves them. He offers great suggestions, explains his work clearly, and leaves everything clean and tidy when he's done. Reliable, skilled, and a pleasure to work with, Barney is the kind of handyman you hope to find but rarely do. It's so hard to find good people these days, and we feel really lucky to have found him. We highly recommend him and are so grateful to have him as a trusted go-to for all our home projects! 1 year agoI have hired Barney for a number of handyman jobs. He is pleasant and initially earned my trust. Unfortunately, his expertise is limited and he does not stand by his work. He charged me an exorbitant amount to repair a defect in a wall following removal of an a/c unit. (Since he charges by the hour and not by the job, it ended up costing more than 3x what a drywall contractor would have charged). He did not apply joint tape. A year later, the area is cracked and buckled, and he has not responded to multiple emails to address the faulty work. I'm disappointed. -

7 years agoMy wife and I utilized Barney's services while he was in the SF Bay Area. I wish he'd come back! Ever since he left, we've tried numerous individuals and none have Barney's knowledge, professionalism and friendliness. I'd highly recommend him and if he decides to come back to the Bay Area, he'd be the first person I'd work with.
